      During my winter break I want to stay productive! Every week I plan on reading at least five chapters between three days each week. Another way I plan on staying productive is doing NoRedInk assignments. There are quite a few subjects to practice! I also want to add in all my missing book reviews into my book review page. Writing will also help with my writing, and it’s staying productive!       Tomorrow December 21st is the last day before break! We have a special incentive hour thing. I was a bit disappointed though because I didn’t get to sign up for the room I wanted. I felt a little sad about it. My friend Ava got to sign up for it, but when she saw I didn’t get to sign up for it she switched the room she was in! Honestly, Ava is a really great friend. I really appreciate what she did! The room I picked was the Grinch movie room, I didn’t really know what to choose so I chose the Grinch room. I’m not too excited for it though.

       Forgiveness is important. Sometimes people can say things they don’t mean, what they say could hurt your feelings. Other times people might do things on purpose to hurt you. If it’s a small thing, maybe you could forgive them, when it’s a huge thing like physically hurting you that’s probably something you wouldn’t forgive someone for doing. Forgiveness is when you stop being angry or upset with someone and putting it aside. Maybe you can’t forgive someone for what they did, that is understandable, you can choose to forgive someone if you want to. When people say things sometimes they don’t mean it. For example when some people say “I hate you!” They could be sarcastic, they could also be upset with you. Sometimes people use insults sarcastically, maybe it hurts your feelings, but they don’t really mean it. Humans say stupid things sometimes.

       Honesty is very important in life. In some cases being honest can really make an impact on an event that may happen. Someone could have lost a special piece of jewelry, you could have seen it, but maybe you didn’t want to say anything. The person who lost this piece of jewelry could be extremely disappointed. Not being honest can also make you feel guilty, feeling guilty isn’t a good feeling at all. Being honest means owning up and telling someone what you did wrong, it could also be doing something right. Things like constructive criticism is being honest about a piece of work and giving someone feedback, telling the truth about taking cookies from your cousin is being honest, telling a person how you feel about them like if you love them or not is also being honest. Being honest is hard sometimes, especially when you really don’t want to tell the truth. Maybe you forgot to do something that your parent told you to, and you don’t want to tell them you forgot to do it, you would

     This week we finished MAP testing for the winter. I didn’t really enjoy it, the only part I liked was drawing after I finished a test. All three drawings I did after the tests were actually pretty nice and I put more effort into them. We did three tests, math, reading, and language arts! My highest score was on Language Arts, I got a 235 on said test. I honestly thought the hardest test was reading, though I usually get higher scores on that one, I went down. I was a bit disappointed but I did get high scores on the other two tests! If we go up at least two we get an incentive, for one of the rooms we get to bring our own device, I’m planning on bringing my Nintendo Switch! We get to do this incentive on the day before winter break starts, December 21st!

     Sunday (December 3rd) I cut my hair really short. I pretty much only cut it so I wouldn’t have to brush it every single day, and so I could dye my hair again. I went to a hair salon called “Haircuttery.” Once we got to the salon there was a tablet for the customers to sign in. My dad had me make an account since we haven’t gone to that salon before. While I was typing in my mother’s name I continued to misspell it, then I misspelled mine, and my brothers... Once I finally spelled all the names correctly we waited for less than two minutes for the stylist to take me to a chair so I could get my hair cut. The lady just cut through a bunch of my hair, she took me to wash my hair, there was so much long hair left and I thought she was done because she was washing my hair, I was a bit scared. Luckily, she wasn’t done cutting my hair. She brought me back to the seat and started to pin multiple chunks of hair to the top of my head, slowly the pile of hair on the top of my head got smalle

  My character’s name is Darian Rosefeather, he is an Asian-American supervillain. He is 25 years old, he is 5’8, he has purple eyes, he also wears glasses, and he has short hair with green highlights. Darian’s older brother Jordan Rosefeather and him aren’t very close, Darian and his grandparents are very close. Darian’s grandparents support him as much as they are able to. As a kid whilst Darian was in school he was bullied for his purple eyes, everyone thought they were unusual and called him a monster. Darian was bullied all throughout his life because of his eyes, the fact his family was well known for being villains, and because his parents were in jail for a hug scandal with the Rosefeather Villain League. Speaking of leagues, Darian is part of the higher class Villain League of New York. Though he has the introvert lifestyle, he is extremely smart, his sharpness is what even got him into the Villain League.   Let’s get into what his powers as a supervillain are! Darian has the

   The funniest story that most recently happened was at lunch, I forgot what day it was though. I sit with my friends Ava, Ariani, Alexa, Emma, Jimmy, and Tiegan. Ava was just reading her book while Jimmy, Tiegan, and I were talking about how we called grape juice “purple water with a lot of sugar.” We don’t know why we found this funny, but we did, and we couldn’t stop laughing. At one point we were in line Jimmy was swinging his ID, he was swinging it too fast until it finally flew out of his hand and into the trash that was behind him! Me and Tiegan fell on the floor and laughed, whilst the species “Jimmy Herrera” as we called him, searched through the trash to grab his ID. Once we got to the table Jimmy started eating- very fast. At one point he spilled some of his food on the table, he didn’t have a napkin so he thought he would use his ID. As he swiftly moved it along the table it caught tomato sauce in the corners where the paper of the ID was exposed, Tiegan, Emma, Pablo, Jimm

For quarter two I want to be more open with asking questions about homework and talk more and be of class discussions. For quarter two I also want to read at least 2-3 books. For math I want to work on converting th customary system to the metric system since I don’t quite understand it still. For science I want to work my explanations for assignments, I want them to be more detailed so you could understand them better. For social studies I want to work on my conversation skills, I want to be able to have better conversations with my groups or my partner so when we write down our work for the assignment the answers will be more detailed and easier to understand. For Gym I want to build up my stamina while running, I can achieve this by running the whole time- or at least most of the time during cardio. For math lab I want to be able to easily do mental math. I can try using mental math out of class too, I can practice it outside of school, or during math.

   For this blogpost we’re supposed to make a story. So... here! ————    Amaryllis Orchidfeather is a 12 year old girl who goes to the Witchcraft Institute of Windsor. It’s a boarding school for girls who come from a family of wizards and witches. Amaryllis shares a dorm room with Fauna Reed and Corinne Greystone. Amaryllis focuses on plant magic and turns those plants into medicine, she is studying to be the first herbalist to use magic to make medicine. Fauna works on Illusion magic to trick the nymphs and ogres who try to attack the school. Corinne likes to go for possession magics, she likes to possess items, people, even animals, she can make them do things for bad or for good- she gets in trouble sometimes for possessing her teachers though. I am so  thankful for my friends. I would have such a miserable life if I didn’t have them, my friends are always there for me when I need them. I would be a lost, sad, and lonely without them, they make my day so much better when I’m feeling down. My friends undertsand now I’m feeling, they comfort me, they stay by my side. I don’t know what I would do without them, I could never imagine a life without them. They have been with me for a little time but I feel I can 99.99% trust them. No words can express my gratitude.

  I have a few favorite countries, but I’m going to discuss Greece! Greece is a country in the Balkans. Greece is well known for its beaches and it’s very interesting history. I honestly really enjoy learning about Greek mythology. I chose Greece because it’s (to me) the most interesting country out of all of the countries I wanted to write about. On a yearly basis Greece has 16.5 million people visit, it has so many airports because so many foreign people want to visit the country. One of the statues that stood in Ancient Greece but is no longer standing  the Colossus of Rhodes stood 108 feet tall, it was destroyed because of a earthquake years ago.    My favorite animal is the fox. Foxes are honestly, in my oppinion, the cutest animal. My two favorite types of foxes are the generic red fox and the pampas fox. The red fox uses its tail to signal other foxes, balance themselves, and to warm themselves during the winter when it is very cold. The pampas foxes scientific name is lycaloplex gymnocercus, pampas foxes live in Argentina, Uruguay, and southern Brazil, pampas foxes’ diet consists of plants and animals, they are omnivores after all.      The happiest day ever? I’m honestly not really sure. I guess the happiest most recent day was when I got my own laptop. I had been wanting a laptop for god knows how long, I would always have to use my Moms laptop and I would only have it for a little because she needed it for her homework- a lot. In August 2015 my Dad took me to Bestbuy and got me a Lenovo laptop, I had the option to get a MacBook but I ended up just getting the Lenovo, I liked the layout better and the laptop was black. I really like the color black. Once we payed for it, we went home. I sat in my brothers messy toy pile and set up the laptop. I got pretty annoyed because the anti-virus software was not working so I just gave up on that part. The rest of the day I played around with the settings, did I mention the laptop was touchscreen? Since it was touchscreen I drew on it all day.

     This may be a bit of a silly achievement but since I got a Nintendo Switch I have been playing Mario Kart non-stop. For 150cc (150cc is a faster speed in Mario Kart) I kept on getting to first place but in the last lap I would be in 2nd or 3rd. I’ve been getting so frustrated about it so I just stopped. I stopped playing Mario Kart for about two weeks, then I went back to it. I only had one Grand Prix to complete it is called “The Special Cup” of course I failed the first few times I did it, I continued to play for a hours and hours until finally at around 12:20-30 in the morning I completed it and got 1st place in all 4 maps on the Speical Cup Grand Prix. Yep, I know silly. xD

       I rather be known as a writer. Mostly because I think writing involves so much more creativity. When you write you can express a lot of feelings at once, you can have deep meanings in the stories you write- now don’t get me wrong you can have deep meanings in music, but it means so much more to me if it is a story. Writing is a huge way to express how you feel, to be a singer you need a writer or you need to be a writer too. Being a writer is way more important to me than every being a singer, I really like music, but I’ll leave that to the professionals. A writer and a singer I know is Lin-Manuel Miranda, he wrote the Broadway musical Hamilton: An American Musical, he also helped make a song after Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico. Writers easily inspire so many other people. So, I rather be known for being a writer than a singer.

     In my opinion the best food ever is ramen. You would never get bored of ramen, there are so many types of it so it would almost be impossible to run out of ramen to try. Honestly my favorite type of ramen is Shoyu ramen. I like all types of ramen but shoyu ramen is my favorite in my opinion, it's a very simple type of ramen! :3 The four main types of ramen are shio, shoyu, miso, and tonkotsu.

      This week in Las Vegas there was a mass shooting at a concert. The man's name was Stephen Paddock. He shot for 9 to 11 minutes. Apparently the man used 12 guns. There were men trying to protect their wives or girlfriends and died in the process sadly. No one knows if someone helped Stephen Paddock, a lot of people assume there was because of how much he shot out of his window at Mandalay Bay Hotel. A large amount of people think this is the worst shooting in U.S. History.

     I mean if I was president I would make decisions the country voted on, not what I think is right, unless it comes to justice. I would make it so anyone as long as they aren't here for a bad reason allowed to come to the country. I would try to delete the "deep web" from the internet, because people can sell illegal substances through the website and get other people to do illegal things to others. I would also make it a law to make children 5 under not allowed to use the internet, mostly because they may be influenced by other people on the internet to say things or do things. I would also make it a law that transgenders could serve in the military again, I honestly don't see the problem with it, if they are doing their job they should stay in their job, who they are shouldn't affect what they're doing.

    On Tuesday, September 26 during gym we played soccer. I'm not really much of a sports person so I didn't really do much, I basically just stood there watching confused. I watched as all the girls just bunched up into multiple groups and only a few actually played. All the boys ran around the gym kicking the soccer balls in every direction. Our goal being in the top left corner of the gym with one girl being the goalie and then a girl sitting quietly next to the net. Soon enough a few people tried to kick thit soccer ball into our goal but failed. The gym day went by pretty quick, we cleaned up and got our stuff then left.

     Digital Citizenship is how you take care of your device, in his case your iPad. You should never have food near your iPad, never have pets near your device, be careful with your iPad try not to drop it, and when going somewhere use the messenger bag. When you're using the iPad use it for what the teacher tells you to use it. Don't go on inappropriate websites,  don't download apps that a teacher told you you couldn't, and make sure your iPad is always charged.

 Honestly the worst thing about the internet is that anyone can go online. Literally anyone can go online, lie about their age, post rude comments, or post innapropriate content. There are restrictions on the internet but people can easily go on what is called "the deep web" The deep web is a place where a big amount of horrible people sell illegal things on websites you can't find on a regular google browser or buy at any random store. That's basically why the internet is the worst place to be. The internet is safe and dangerous in so many ways.

The We Movement is where a huge group of people help others around the world. They have a website where you can buy things that are handmade from people and you buying them will give them money so they can support themselves and their families. WE is the movement that brings people all over the world together to change the world. They try to change "me" to "we".

On Tuesday, September 19, 2017 there was an earthquake in Mexico, it's magnitude was 7.1 and it made a few buildings fall. At least 120 people have been pronounced dead. One woman's son was stuck under the rubble and she hasn't heard anything about him yet. Hurricane Maria also hit in Puerto Rico on Weenesday, September 20, 2017. It left floods, uprooted trees, and houses crushed. A man named Edwin Serrano said "Irma gave us a break, but Maria destroyed us." Maria made an entrance into Puerto Rico with winds that were category 4 of 155 miles per hour.
